Faculty of Social Sciences

The Faculty of Social Sciences has three libraries of its own, which students are welcome to use:

The Central Library, located at our Hollar building (Smetanovo nabrezi 6)
The Library at Opletalova, located at our Institute of Economic Studies, Opletalova 26. This library houses our economics collection. Since this collection is relatively small, students are welcome to use the CERGE-EI library, located nearby. The CERGE-EI is the best equipped economic library in the Czech republic.
The Masaryk Social Sciences Library at the Charles University campus in Jinonice. This is a large and relatively new humanities library, run jointly with the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Humanities, which includes books on Political Science, Sociology and Area Studies.

Students have also the opportunity to use the National Library, various branch libraries of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Municipal Library of Prague.
