The Academic Senate is the self-governing academic body of the Faculty. It has twenty members, of which half are students.  Members of the Academic Senate are answerable for their activities to the academic community. In the discharge of their functions they are bound only by their conscience.


The Academic Senate has two chambers: pedagogic and student. Both chambers have ten members. The presidium has four members and consists of a chairman and three vice-chairmen. One of the members of the Academic Senate also holds a function of a Secretary.
